Our September launch of the new CED branding has garnered some positive press. The News and Observer interviewed CED President Joan Siefert Rose for their News section as well as their ".biz" Business blog. And the Durham Herald-Sun also covered the new CED brand this month.
Our own editor/proofreader Lisa Shearin has just inked a new two-book deal with long-time publisher, Ace Books (a division of Penguin Group). Lisa is a national bestselling author with three books already published in her fantasy adventure series featuring her popular heroine, Raine Benares. She’s also a regular columnist for The Writer magazine, and has a flock of fans and aspiring writers visiting her blog.
The holiday shopping season is almost here, and our work on a nationally distributed Holiday Gift Guide newspaper insert for John Deere should get folks in the mood to buy. We shot the insert cover and several interior photos on the hottest day in July on a farm in Carrboro, NC. Our location scouting turned up a very old log cabin that’s still in use today. You can see some behind-the-scenes shots on our brand new Flickr page.
